Position
Summary:
The Night Auditor at the Holbrook Hotel plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and financial integrity of the hotel during nighttime hours.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail and exceptional customer service abilities.
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing all overnight operations, including accounting, guest services, and security, while providing a welcoming and professional environment for guests.
RequirementsFinancial Operations:
Conduct nightly audit of all financial transactions, including room charges, cash payments, credit card transactions, and miscellaneous charges.
Reconcile daily revenue and prepare reports for management review.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Process end-of-day procedures and generate necessary reports for management and corporate offices.
Guest Services:
Provide exceptional customer service to guests during the overnight hours.
Check-in/check-out guests as necessary.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
Assist guests with special requests and accommodations.
Security:
Monitor security cameras and conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure guest safety.
Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established protocols.
Report any safety or security concerns to management immediately.
Administrative Tasks:
Complete administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Assist with reservations, room assignments, and room status updates.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with other staff members to provide continuity of service between shifts.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address any issues or concerns that arise during the night.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Excel and property management systems.
Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Capability to lift and carry moderate weights.
Comfortable working in varied weather conditions if required to patrol the property.
